After thorough research, Upstairs Staircase Renovations developed a new solution for finishing on the side of our staircase steps.
We used to use solid caps, which made for a fine solution. Using the latest technology, we have now developed a product ourselves in which the finishing on the step flows over onto the side of the stairs, making your step look like one solid piece. This way, your staircase will look the same from both the front and the side. This Upstairs Side Finishing (Upstairs Zij Afwerking, UZA) is made of the same material as the Upstairs steps; an HDF core with HPL finishing, protecting them from damage.
