The combination of black and white creates a striking effect. This can sometimes make it difficult to use this colour scheme in a stylish way. With these tips, you can turn your black-and-white staircase into a real eye-catcher!
Black and white really come into their own in a calm and ‘clean’ interior. Natural materials, such as marble and wood, and simple colours complement the minimalist look of a black-and-white staircase perfectly. So paint the walls around the staircase in soft colours or simply leave them white. This will make the staircase stand out and create a harmonious and stylish whole.
Bright colours can be cheerful and summery, but too many colours can quickly become overwhelming in your interior. So try not to include too many different striking colours around the black-and-white staircase. Keep the walls neutral and be careful with overly flashy interior accessories.
